Juggling growing workloads and a hot bae can be a stressful feat for many employees. Being sat at a desk all day can be mind-numbing, especially if you’re horny. And yet, a Swedish politician might have the answer to this alchemic ailment.
Per-Erik Muskos, a city councilor for the Swedish town of Övertorneå, has suggested that workers take breaks from their workload to have sex to promote wellness and curb absences.
Muskos claims that overworked couples could improve their productivity and health by having one hour’s paid break a day to go home and have sex. WE ARE IN.
“There are studies that show sex is healthy,” Muskos said to the AFP news agency after proposing the idea. “It’s about having better relationships,” he added, explaining that couples aren’t spending enough time together in this modern day.
Various studies have shown that a lack of work-life balance is finding couples too tired or overworked to have sex. Job strain has been found to have a devastating effect on people’s sex lives. One study by the National Sleep Foundation discovered that one in four American couples who are married or living together are too tired to shag and that makes me sad.
Other research has found that people work so much they don’t even want to have sex and lose interest altogether. Stress at work can even contribute to physical sexual problems, such as erectile dysfunction. And nobody wants that.

The thing is, if people aren’t having orgasms, health suffers and happiness wains. There are many pros of sex and masturbation, including improved physical and mental health. For men, jerking off can actually decrease the chance of developing cancer.
For everybody, having regular orgasms relieves stress, aids sleep, boosts endorphins and boosts our immune systems – immune health is linked to better mental health.
So it’s really in the interest of world leaders to make sure their citizens are making each other, and themselves, come.
